This site is deliberately built to collect as little data as possible. No tracking cookies, no advertising, no third-party scripts — just a language preference, a contact form, and anonymous visitor statistics that never leave my server. This page explains the little that remains.

If you use the contact form, I receive the email address and message you enter — nothing else. I use them for exactly one thing: reading your message and replying. The legal basis is GDPR Article 6(1)(b) (taking steps at your request before a possible agreement) and 6(1)(f) (my legitimate interest in answering inquiries).
Delivery is handled by Resend (Resend, Inc., USA) and the message arrives in my Gmail inbox (Google). Both act as data processors, and the transfers to the USA are covered by the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Messages are kept only as long as needed to handle our correspondence, then deleted.
The site sets a single cookie, "lang", which remembers your language choice (English, Swedish or Norwegian) for one year, along with the same value in your browser's localStorage. It's set when the site detects your browser language or when you use the language toggle. It is purely functional — it identifies nothing and tracks nothing, which is why no cookie banner is needed. There are no analytics, advertising or third-party cookies.
The site counts visits using Umami, an open-source analytics tool that runs on my own server — no data is sent to any third party. It records the page you view, the site you came from, your browser and device type, and your country. It is cookieless: nothing is stored in your browser, your IP address is not saved, and visitors are only distinguished by a hash that resets every day, so you cannot be identified or followed over time. The legal basis is my legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) in understanding how the site is used.
Like almost every web server, this one writes standard access logs that can include your IP address. They are used only for security and troubleshooting, and are rotated and deleted automatically.
The market charts on this site are fetched by my server, not by your browser — so your visit is never exposed to the data providers. No visitor data is sold, shared or used for profiling of any kind, and nothing about your visit leaves my server.
You can ask what data I hold about you, and have it corrected, deleted or handed over — just email suhr.joakim@gmail.com and I'll sort it out. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) or the data protection authority in your own EU/EEA country.
